Rausha Kipaji’s first edition was held in 2018 and was set to be an annual event, but due to the pandemic, the tournament was not held in 2020 & 2021. Rausha Kipaji offers immeasurable importance for the participating teams: a sense of achievement by competing, thus boosting their self-confidence; social interaction and exposure; cognitive growth; and potential opportunities for advancement in the sport. Scouts and coaches from different places around Kenya and the world will be attending the event.
During the 4th edition in 2023, Stawisha Jamii Academy under 20, A3t Soccer Academy under 17, Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) under 15, Soka Talant under 11, and Buruburu Soccer Academy under-9 teams were crowned champions in the tournament in Nakuru County. This year has seen new academies gracing the tournament as each of them prepares extensively for the tournament. Each player and team is fueled by the desire to hoist coveted trophies high above their heads.
This year’s event has also seen a number of sponsors join up to bring the tournament to life.
